Los Angeles witnessed citywide festivities after the Dodgers won a nail-biting seven-match World Series title. Supporters across the globe united with Angelenos in celebration, marking the first time in a quarter-century that a team has secured consecutive championships.
Celebration Parade Attracts Massive Turnout
Local events featured a downtown parade on Monday morning, a ticketed rally at Dodger Stadium, and spontaneous parties across the city.
Social media videos depict countless of Angelenos flooding downtown streets, many carrying handmade banners and team flags. The squad was seen traveling proudly on a open-top bus through the crowds, raising the championship trophy proudly.
